Outlook:

Clay County had a great run a year ago, reaching the state tournament before being eliminated by Hampton in the quarterfinals.  This year they will look to duplicate that success, led by Mr. Basketball candidate Tyreke Key, who has several Division 1 offers.  The Bulldogs will look to mesh a talented group of freshmen and sophomores into the lineup as they look to return to Murfreesboro.

Coach Edwards says it will be a great season if:

“Young players develop and fill roles on varsity.”

Coach Edwards says it will be a tough season if:

“Underachieve.”
